Event FAQs

  • Yes, they were married during the COVID pandemic on March 30, 2022 at Beverly Hills City Hall. The judge wore sweatpants.

  • Yes, in one of the worst thought out plans in recorded history, Daniel tried to preserve the ‘oomph’ factor for the day they would have a wedding party. 3.5 years later, the cat’s already out of the bag. But, we can pretend right?

  • Not having family and friends at our city hall wedding felt like a huge part of us was missing. That, and Daniel’s parents need a good forcing function to cut loose and get drunk one more time.

  • Saturday at Willow Camp in Stinson Beach will give you the opportunity to show your sartorial range — from yoga pants, wetsuits, bikinis and speedos, to cocktail dresses and layers later in the day. Ample places to change on site. Expect to walk on lawns, gravel, and sand. Stilettos may struggle.

Sunday Ceremony & Reception in Bolinas takes place on a 10-acre estate in an open field worthy of an Enya video. Time to get sexy and elegant! Gowns, elevated cocktail dresses, suits. Have fun with your attire, be unexpected, or even break the rules, but tastefully. Think unconventional fabrics, silhouettes, and loud accessories. You’ll walk across uneven turf before dancing on an established floor. So, choose shoes that keep you upright, and pack a layer because it’s Bay Area and Karl the Fog never RSVPs.

For the nudists in our community or those who just really want to go full California, Red Rock Beach is your frei-korper destination and a 15-min walk from Willow Camp. Let it rip!

  • Please check in with Sasha and Daniel first. All plus one applications will be submitted through Linkedin Job Finder.

  • We welcome children! Please check-in with Sasha & Daniel so we can plan in advance for your little ones.

  • Parking is limited to 30 cars. We ask Stinson Beach guests to use the complimentary shuttles that begin leaving Willow Camp at 1:30 pm. We also are working on a shuttle location on main street in Bolinas.

For guests wanting to drive to the venue, let us know beforehand so we can guarantee parking and please carpool if possible.

Shuttles will begin return trips to Stinson Beach and Bolinas from Rose Lane at 6 pm (or earlier as necessary).

  • Unless you pre-book in advance (minimum 1 hour ahead), you may have better luck getting a ride on a tractor in West Marin. Local taxis are available, but sparse and require ample time.

  • Yes! Pray for surf. If you are a surfer and driving into the wedding, please bring an extra longboard and wetsuit if possible. Local surf shops won’t have enough rentals to accomodate all the guests that may want to shred the gnar and get pitted.

Surf forecast updates will be sent ahead of the wedding.

  • Your love and presence mean the world to us — no gifts are necessary. But, if you would like to contribute to Project Sasha and Daniel, we’ve included a few easy ways to do that in the Registry Tab on the Navgation Bar. There will also be hongbao available at the tea ceremony — red envelopes in Chinese culture used during celebrations to make offerings with. Also believed to ward off evil spirits, which is always a plus.

  • Fuck Pancakes — the first bite is always the best and it’s really downhill from there. So, pancakes are to be engaged with judiciously, but you don’t lay the foundation and start a family here.

Marry Waffles — Us Angelenos take ‘em with Chicken so savory and sweet are covered. They play well with European culture. Crispy and soft when right. And, their square formation tickles the OCD in us both.

Kill French Toast — Of course. Look, you get a little crazy on the weekend and think, “Hey, let me throw caution to the wind and order the French Toast.” Unless you’re literally French, you don’t want to be this indulgent. It will only end in regret, shame, and the vertiginous blood sugar rollercoaster.
